All 6th, 7th & 8th  graders are invited to grow in their faith through our exciting and interactive Middle School programming. We will cover the major areas of Catholic formation during these years as students study Scripture, Creed Church, Sacraments, Prayer and Social Justice and Catholic Morality. Youth will be encouraged to apply what they learn to their daily lives and will discuss how their faith is being lived out. Youth are encouraged to participate in weekly liturgies, service opportunities, bible studies, social activities, and retreat experiences offered throughout the year.
Every class session will be designed to be engaging, interactive, and challenging. Students will meet as a whole group but will have a “break” period for meeting in small grade level groupings for deeper discussion and activity surrounding the lesson. Various prayer experiences will be included with each class.
In addition to the weekly sessions, parents and youth will come together with those from other faith formation programs for Community Nights.
Parents are urged to consider volunteering in the Middle School program as a catechist.

Welcome to the EDGE Program. The EDGE curriculum is a Life Teen resource.
The goals of the program are:
1.  Allowing early adolescents to experience the Word of God and the Eucharist in a deeper and more profound way.
2.  Creating a positive experience of the Catholic Church for early adolescents
3.  Helping middle school youth gain an understanding and appreciation of what the Catholic Church teaches and believes.
4. Incorporating the Catholic Church's vision of social justice and peace into their spiritual life.
5. Developing an identity in middle school youth as a vital and visual presence within the parish community.
We believe catechesis goes further when our youth group leaders are involved in the lives of the youth. Our resources are written to empower our Team leaders to interact with the youth and build safe, Christ-center friendships.
In this year, we are presenting various aspects of our Catholic faith, the introduction to prayer, and the basic types of prayer. The youth will hear and learn about how and when the Catholic Church was instituted, discipleship, evangelization and more.
