SERVICE PROJECT

Each Service reports are due by: 

Nov. 3rd, Feb. 23rd & Mar. 30th ( Year I)
Nov. 3rd, Dec. 15th, Feb. 16th & Mar. 30th (Year II)

Before making a commitment to a service project, think about the variety of ways in which you can use your talents and abilities to help others. In order to gain a better understanding of the need you are addressing, review the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy and Catholic Social Teachings and pray about whether your service project lends a hand to those needs. A few guidelines about the service projects: 
 
1.  The Total hours required for Confirmation Candidates are: 
         Year 1:  12 hours minimum of 3 service projects
         Year 2:  15 hours minimum of 3-4 service projects
2.  Service Projects must be done in the THREE following context:  FAMILY, PARISH, COMMUNITY
3.  To receive credit for the service projects, candidates must: 
         a. Spend a minimum of 3 hours on each project 
         b. obtain a signature from the person in charge.
         c. reflect & write the report using the form
                    "service project reflection" & submit it to the office.
